Recommended Sites: Geek and Sundry

Hey guys, Zach here.  While I'm procrastinating getting my homework done, I decided to share one of the better sites I've been visiting lately: http://tabletop.geekandsundry.com/.  TableTop is one of my favorite web series as of late.  Not only does it provide some exposure for potential party games to play with the nerdy friends.  So pay them a visit and watch seasons one and two of TableTop.

Wolf’s Rain

By: Robert Murphy

Welcome everybody to the desolate world populated by pockets of human life that are fighting to survive in the harsh world that has befallen them but there are more than just human beings trying to survive in this world. Wolf’s Rain is set in a world where things appear to be at their worse and the world is winding down to the end it seems but some people are looking for something more, well not people more accurately wolves are looking for something more. In this world wolves had been thought to been extinct for the past 200 years but this isn’t the case, rather wolves had taken on a human form to disguise themselves and appear that way to most humans. Now wolves though are fighting to survive this harsh world as well but a legend tells of an incredible paradise that will open near the end of the world that only wolves would only be able to find by the scent of the alluring Lunar Flower. Our story follows four wolves in particular namely Kiba, Tsume, Hige and Toboe who are all searching for this Paradise and hoping they can make it before its too late.

Right of the bat I must show a tip of the hat to the level of animation that went into the making of Wolf’s Rain because everything you see is pretty incredibly designed. The desolate state that the world is in should be dark and dank but still features a rich and unique look to it that isn’t just thrown together in a standard end of the world type look. What I especially loved about the design work, is the work that went into the animation of the wolves themselves and to me wolves are beautiful and amazing animals and that aspect was truly brought out in Wolf’s Rain. The wolves not only look real but move and feel like the real life animals that are being brought to life here in the show and the main characters of the show like Kiba feature a great human appearance as well. Each character has their own unique style or look and it kind of represents the kind of person/wolf that they are in the show.

From here though I lose love for the show, mainly with the story itself, the show starts off strong and introduces us to a cool and unique premise of a world that is in shambles and these creatures are hiding among humans looking for a beautiful Paradise. We meet Kiba who comes to a city lured by the smell of Lunar Flowers and meets up with three other wolves who had smelled the very same scent and they all decide to join up in their search. But after the first few episodes of the show and being completely enthralled and entertained Wolf’s Rain begins to lose its footing and gets lost in random side stories and information that has nothing to do with the plot. I continued to press on through the show despite this because of how impressed I was with the premise of the story but I was disappointed at what I found as the show slowly made a good step forward one moment and then two steps back the next. Near the end of the show though things do pick up, out of nowhere I might add but this was short lived when I watched the ambiguous end to the show, making me feel a little cheated in a way but what can you do.

In conclusion, I was hoping for so much more than what I got from Wolf’s Rain, I love wolves and I loved the incredibly unique idea and back story that was behind the show but my hopes had been dashed as I watched the show. The animation as I said is so spot on and really brings the world you are into to life and the level of work that must have gone into the creation of the wolves themselves was just a great treat for me. But after a good start to the story itself, I lose interest in the show all together because the story just loses sight of what it is doing and by the time that it picks of the threads of what it had, it was far too late.

Good:

-Great animation and design work

-Had a great start and a great back story to follow it up

Bad:

-Story loses sight of what it is doing

-Boring story telling

-The ending is so very ambiguous and deserved much better

Splinter Cell: Blacklist

By: Robert Murphy

Hey guys, sorry that it’s been so long since I last had a post for you all but I was in need of some rest and relaxation but now I’m back with plenty to share in the coming weeks with video games, anime and more. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s just start off with a new game that I have been waiting for, for quite some time now and that game is Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Yes, Sam Fisher is back once again and God help you if you’re the ones he’s after because as fans of series will tell you, nobody messes with Sam Fisher. Since the last time we saw Sam things have changed, you’re no longer laying low and avoiding your stealth assassin ways, no in fact you’ll need them more than ever now that a group known as The Engineers have come to change the world in a radical way. Enter Same Fisher and the newly formed 4th Echelon which features some old faces such as Grim (because it’s not a Splinter Cell game without her) and Charlie Cole, with a new face to the team Isaac Briggs. Together this small but powerful group is put to the task of taking out The Engineers and the threat they pose to the United States.

Now when we last saw Sam, he was kind of gruff and was giving off the scruffy old man angle in Splinter Cell: Conviction and he was taking down everything in his way with brute force and took a little less stealthy aspect to him. In Blacklist however, things are back in order and Sam returns to the shadows to take down the new threat set before him and his team so fans of the series will once more enjoy ducking and weaving all over the place. And duck and weave you shall as almost every mission comes with multiple venues and ways to move through patrolling guards and bad guys, whether it’s vents, ceilings or pipes, there’s an angle for whatever your preference may be. But of course this was all to be expect from a Splinter Cell game but if you do enjoy going loud in a situation and going in guns blazing then there is still that option. There is a wide array of weaponry to choose from and some of those come with quite a large bang to them so you can go on a murdering spree on a room of enemies rather than silently removing them one at a time. On the plus side as well, you are actually rewarded for this type of behavior along with being stealthy and lethally stealthy through the games mission scoring system that appears when you complete a mission. This rewards you points and cash for either going through the mission as a Ghost (non-lethal stealth), a Panther (lethal stealth) or Assault (loud and lethal), making an enjoyable experience, whatever your preference.

From here you can further customize Sam and your gear by purchasing weapon modifications for the wide assortment of guns you have to choose from and with those guns comes with a huge assortment of modifications to be made. From red dot sights to hollow point rounds, you’ll be dealing deadly damage throughout the campaign anyway you like. Then we also have the gadgets, remote cameras, noise makers, rotating robot drones, they’re all here for the taking to aid in your stealthy or not so stealthy play through of Blacklist. Nothing compares to the stunned look an enemy gets when he here’s a strange sound come from no-where and then suddenly he turns around and all his buddies are missing in action and the light of your goggles shine behind him. Then there’s Sam himself, whose appearance can be altered with a number of different outfits, each with their own unique traits an abilities that can improve your stealth, weapon handling and more.

As for the campaign itself, Sam and his team work on board of the Paladin, a large aircraft carrier that can also be further upgraded with cash given to Grim in between missions, this monolithic plane is base of operations for 4th Echelon. From here you access your missions that across the globe and these missions vary from main story missions to side missions that are given to you by your team, to be done at your leisure for extra cash. Also you can talk to your team before and after each mission to see your stats, update your arsenal or get the new missions that I mentioned earlier. But if you want to bite into the main story, you can all go right ahead because it’s a good one, the “Blacklist” terrorist attacks on America features a very grounded and enjoyable experience. There aren’t over the top explosions or antics with this enemy, they’re quick, clean and precise and prove to be a challenge even for Sam, who after the last game, you’d think would be pulling an “I’m too old for this @#$%.” And this was my really big problem with the game because Sam is now somewhat different, he’s still an incredibly skilled, stealth fighter but his character is not the same Sam. This is because Sam’s gruff voice actor has been replaced this time around and replaced with a new more authoritative voice that says, “This is what’s happening, let’s get it done” and that’s it. Sam’s sarcastic and wittiness seems to have disappeared with this one, it didn’t kill the game for me but I do miss the voice work of Michael Ironside in this one.

Now onto the multiplayer, Blacklist features both co-op missions and an online mode that returns some classic features from previous games for all to enjoy. We have a throwback to the old days with the game mode Spies vs Mercs that puts you and your friends to a task of hacking a terminal while avoiding a group of mercs defending the area in a classic 2 v 2 or the new 4 v 4 mode that lets you customize your individual load out for added fun. Then there the other game modes such as Team Deathmatch which is self-explanatory and many other game types for you and your friends to either work together in or test your stealth skills against. Then we have the co-op aspect of the game, as you play through the game you’ll notice that missions from your team may have a co-op option so you and your friend or whoever can tackle a mission together, taking some of the load off Sam in solo play. But make sure you find yourself a friend with similar playing styles or you’ll end up trying to go stealthy while your friend charges in guns firing.

All in all, Splinter Cell: Blacklist has brought back the heavy stealth element that fans of the series have always loved about the series since day one but they’ve also incorporated more of a heavier action element for players who want to give up and just blow everything away. Not only this but players will gain points for going through the mission in the various different ways that you play, either being gun heavy, stealthy or a stealthy killer, it’s your choice. Also the game brings with it enjoyable multiplayer and co-op campaign missions alongside the short but sweet action of the single player campaign that’s laid before us. My issues with the game are nothing major that wouldn’t spoil anyone’s fun playing through this incredible game either, I don’t care for some of Sam Fisher’s new attributes, he looks so stiff and structured now and not like his old self but he’s still got the legendary skills that I know and love.

Good:

-Enjoyable campaign and story

-Equally enjoyable co-op and multiplayer for you and your friends

-Massively customizable arsenal, filled with gadgets, guns and more

Bad:

-The new Sam wasn’t for me but you guys decide for yourself on that one

Sword Art Online AMV - The Grey (HD)

Zach Goodier

I don't know who here has been watching Sword Art Online on Toonami, but it's been a very fun show so far, and I'm already hooked.  While a lot of this is from much further in the series by the looks of it, I still loved this AMV.  So while we work on getting organized, and I get ready to start my semester tomorrow, enjoy this excellent work.

In the News: Elder Scrolls Online Subscription Fee

Zach Goodier

The Elder Scrolls Online, which I was hoping to have a free-to-play model, with payed extras to help fund the servers, is now going to adopt a monthly subscription fee of $15.  This is a disappointment, as I have been hoping that MMO's would start adopting the free-to-play model, with paid costumes and extras to supply the company.  Many successful games now tempt players to try the game by being free, and once the player invests they can then pay for credits to purchase costumes, weapons, or other offered extras for players to enjoy and personalize their characters.  I can see why TESO might benefit from the monthly fee in terms of making content fair and balanced, not favoring the person with the biggest wallet; however, this monthly free will cost the gamers a lot just to play, and will likely alienate a lot of people, much like Star Wars: The Old Republic did.  Only time will tell, however, and we will be able to see more of what our money will be buying us.

Naruto 643: The Two Fist Bumping!

By: Robert Murphy
Link to manga here

Hey everybody, I’m not sure as to the reason but Naruto had been delayed from last week and wasn’t released until yesterday but the good news is I kept a close eye out for it so I could share it with you all. This chapter was entitled “The Two Fist Bumping!” and continues the fight against Obito’s new form as the Juubi’s Jinchuriki and after last week’s chapter it would finally appear that Naruto, Sasuke and the Hokages have finally found a weakness. To recap last week finished off with Naruto entering sage mode and since sage mode relies on nature energy it was able to break through to Obito and cause a solid blow. Unfortunately, Obito is not going to take this lightly and moves to end playing around in this battle and implement the eternal genjustu on the world as well. Hop on in and find out just whether or not Naruto and the shinobi alliance can finally put an end to the war and Obito once and for all.

In the News: Dead Rising 3 gameplay

Zach here, and I'm bringing a Dead Rising 3 preview at ya.  This game is going to be on the Xbox One exclusively, which makes me wonder whether or not I'll be playing it right away.  However, the gameplay looks great, and the open world setting should make surviving the zombie horde that much more exciting as you navigate the treacherous hordes in your path.  I enjoy the feel that this zombie game is "right."  It doesn't try to make the zombies mutated, special, or otherwise deviate from the old school zombie look and feel.  The ability to improvise weapons also makes this game look extremely deep and engaging, as you try to maximize your resources in order to survive.

Some LOLZ and Site Update

Hey guys, Zach here.

This week has been all over the place for us at Scully Nerd Reviews, more so than usual. Robert has been working extra hours at work, and so have I.  We had some updates for all of you that are now on the back-burner, unfortunately.  I'm still working on my Meet the Millers review, but if you want the short version: go check it out if you don't mind a little indecent humor.  I'll have the rest in my full review, whenever I can get it finished.  but just so you all don't think we're neglecting you entirely, here's a little humor to enjoy in the absence of new material.

Thanks again for visiting and following,

In the News: 12 Minutes of Dying Light Gameplay

IGN has some gameplay from the upcoming survival-horror title, Dying Light.  The game mixes free-running with zombie-survival.  The mix allows for some interesting mechanics when it comes to survival, because like in a real zombie outbreak, you won't want to go fighting head-on, especially against such overwhelming numbers.  The game gets even more tense at night, however, as the zombies mutate and become much more dangerous, forcing you to resort to stealth and/or avoidance tactics in order to stay alive.  It appears that player choices will also have bearing on the game world, with the player having the option to go in search of survivors along the way, but the price of your generosity can make the mission at hand even more difficult, making you stay conscious of whether or not you can afford to be noble in this dangerous world.

In the News: Assassins Creed IV Stealth Experience Walkthrough

Hey guys, Zach here.  I have some gameplay footage to showcase the news stealth feature for the upcoming Assassin's Creed IV.  It looks like on top of more sailing, which I love, we have expanded stealth capabilities that add to both the exploration, as well as the standard action we know and love.  I'm looking forward to seeing just how the game plays at release, but until then, I'll keep on the edge of my seat until I get my hands on it.  Stay nerd, y'all!

2 Guns

By Robert Murphy

Hey everybody, it’s off to the movies to find out if I wasted ten dollars on a box office bust or not and with 2 Guns I was definitely on the fence on whether or not I’d be getting my money’s worth out of the deal but I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. For starters, what drew me into the movie in the first place was the two lead actors that we had to enjoy, both Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington have consistently hit their mark on the films they have been in and 2 Guns was no different. The two are put together in a buddy cop/buddy pretend drug dealer action movie, exchanging not only gun fire along the way but also quick witted blows at one another that strike the funny bone just right. But the best part is that the two don’t even know that they are each undercover agents working towards the same goal. Denzel Washington takes on the role of Bobby Trench, a DEA agent with a swagger and flare of the rat pack era about him and Mark Wahlberg plays Marcus Stigman, a Navy Seal officer who has a cocky, bad boy attitude to him that fits him all too well.

Hey what’s not to love about these two

What follows on screen is a series of double crossings, after the two decide to knock over a bank that ends up carrying way more money than it should have had in it and the two quickly realize that they have been set up and that they are both not who they are pretending to be. So what does anybody do in this kind of situation, dust themselves off and decide to team up and find out just who and why they were set up in the first place.  The two proceed to go back to their individual bosses, crossing over from the Mexican border where they were working on taking down a cocaine kingpin, played by Edward James Olmos. This dusty back drop in Mexico makes for an almost old era vibe where everyone carried a gun and there were legendary sure shots all around that could shoot wings off of a fly and all that jazz. This gets a modern update obviously as Washington and Wahlberg track down their betrayers while showing off some pretty crazy action scenes such as Wahlberg’s character one shotting a helicopter pilot while its flying through the air for example. This being an issue I found with the movie but then again action movies have that hard to believe affect a lot of the times that you just have to get over and just enjoy the epicness of no matter how impossible it may be.

So things went according to plan then?

Washington and Wahlberg have never been better as I’ve said, they honestly are what bumps up this otherwise average, opposites attract, buddy cop, action film. Washington takes on more of an eased back character as opposed to the serious roles he’s taken part in lately and he performs perfectly to the task while at the same time maintaining a gruff demeanor to who he trusts in his life. Then we Wahlberg, who always plays a bit of spunky and full of energy kind of character and that doesn’t change here for as soon as the two decide to work together, Wahlberg becomes a kid in a candy store jumping for joy to have his buddy back. What sets 2 Guns apart from other butt kicking duo movie you might ask, that is that the story has a great plot and features plenty of double crossing, back stabbing goodness that separates the film from just being another action film or buddy comedy. I can’t dig too much though into all the double crossing, mainly because I don’t want to spoil it for the rest of you, you’ll just have to see that for yourself.

I don’t know, it’s nice but is there any good schools near by

Bottom line is I was pleasantly surprised with the experience that I had with 2 Guns, not only was there lots of laughs and action but the story didn’t get lost in all of that, there were enjoyable plot twists and double crossings along the way and brought the action and laughs along with it. This comes together with an all-star cast of characters, Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington are on their A game as anyone would expect. The two are what drew me into the movie and I am so happy that they did because they worked so well together, bouncing back and forth off of each other with smart mouthed jabs from Mark and the don’t mess with me attitude of Washington. There are those eye brow raising moments in 2 Guns as I said but it is an action movie and they do tend to happen time and again and often times the ridiculous and awesome stunts are what we all love. In the wake of all the so-so movies I have seen this year, 2 Guns was just what I needed to see to keep what little faith there is to be had in Hollywood lately.

Good:

-Great lead characters, Wahlberg and Washington made a great pair and were perfect for the parts

-The plot twists weren’t shocking but still were much better than I expected from the movie

-Plenty of laughs and action that were balanced perfectly with the story

Bad:

-The questionable action moments, like really questionable

Naruto 642: Breach

By: Robert Murphy
Link to manga here

Guess it’s that time once again everyone, time for some more Naruto action to unfold, this week’s chapter is entitled “Breach” and it would appear to be the last thing that our united force can do against this new godly form that Obito has attained. Last week we left off with Naruto and Sasuke dealing what we thought would be a devastating combined blow against Obito, after finally finding an opening and landing the attack. When the smoke clears in this week’s chapter however it appears to be a waste as Obito negated the attack completely, nothing appears to affect him in this new state and worse things appear to have become known out of this failed attack. Find out just what happens in this week’s chapter of Naruto and what other secrets are about to unfold for all of us and I’ll see you all next week, Murphy out.

Multi Anime ~ Up in the Air AMV

Hey guys, Zach here. Been a crazy weekend for us at Scully Nerd Reviews.  We are currently working on starting a Minecraft server, with which we may start recording videos to share with you guys.  On top of that, we are in the process of considering accepting requests to come join our community server once we have settled on some ground rules for everyone to follow so that we may all enjoy ourselves.  While all this is going on, little else has been getting done, so I'm sharing an AMV with you today, and tomorrow is "Manga Day" for us, so we'll have the regular Shonen releases (except Bleach, which is still on hiatus).  So that's what going on here with us, so still around and join us.

Grand Theft Auto 4

By: Robert Murphy

Hey everybody, since there is a gap between my next big game purchase I thought I might take a step back and review and older game and since the next big launch title I will be playing is Grand Theft Auto 5, I thought I’d give a review for Grand Theft Auto 4. Players follow the exploits of Niko Bellic, who has come to America (specifically the made up world of Liberty City) seeking all that America promises, namely wealth and a better life than the one Niko has known. From this point anybody who has played a GTA game before knows what is coming next and that is a car stealing, gun shooting and adrenaline fueled open world to be seen and explored, along with an extensive story mode and some great online action for you and your friends.

Heyyyyy! Niko!

Now Grand Theft Auto games have always tried to give players a world where they feel they can immerse themselves with the characters they are playing as, giving them the option to buy clothes, eat, sleep, do whatever your heart desires and GTA 4 does this as well but better than ever. This becomes ever the clearer once you step into the living organism that is Liberty City which has been incredibly designed and makes you feel as though you're in a real metropolitan city environment. People go about their day to day lives and make the city come to life as you play through the story or drive around seeing the sites. Although as soon as you start the game you’re compelled to dig right on into the games story mode as your cousin Roman (who has told you of the city and it’s riches to be had) is revealed to be in quite of a pickle with gambling debts. Niko, who despite not being shy to killing people, due to his military past, is a good man who doesn’t want to be a part of the tasks he must perform to help his cousin, still does them in the hopes of his own goals get realized along the way. But these goals can be accomplished rather quickly as the story mode won’t take up more than 30 to 40 hours of your time, however what makes it feel longer and more appealing are the upgrades to the gameplay and your character. In previous GTA games, characters were not as agile as Niko is, with the ability to take cover and a great lock on targeting system, completing missions becomes sleek and enjoyable. Speaking of missions, the ones in GTA 4 do not differ much from previous games where you go and kill someone or pick up a package for someone but there are a quite a few more enjoyable missions along the way too. For example, one mission involves a high stakes bank robbery where you must steal the money and get out of dodge and killing the unfortunate cops that try and stop you.

Liberty City is an amazing living breathing metropolis

But hey if 30 to 40 hours of story won’t do it for you then you can feel free to partake in any number of side activities among Liberty City’s borders. These can include anything from hanging with your friends or even going on dates with the beautiful ladies of this fine city, payment is wanted up front of course. But if you’re not seeing the appeal of going to hang out with your cousin at the bowling alley, then look at it this way, hanging out with any number of your friends leads you to getting bonuses from your mutual friendship with them. This can include a discount on guns or aiding you with missions later on in the game. There also various side quests, if you want to call them that, where you can do things such as go out and steal cars for a company and they in turn sell them illegally overseas for cash and along with this players can also take part in street races across the city for even more cash in your piggy bank. And of course players can do what every GTA fan must do and that is goof off and cause a large amount of chaos and destruction around this lovely and unsuspecting city.

Let’s do this!

Now we move on to our multiplayer, which takes all the fun and splendor of the regular game and adds you and your friends into the mix, as well as introducing some fun game modes for you all to compete or work together in. Once in multiplayer, you can either join a match of strangers or you and your friends can choose to select from over a dozen different game types, from free roam to team death match and other fun events like racing, cops and crooks and so much more. What makes things even more exciting is the size of the parties you get to have, GTA 4 allows for up to sixteen players in most of the game modes that are offered through online play. Each match that players take part in has a party leader and these people can add more spice to the game modes for you and your friends by doing things like increasing the amount of traffic in the game for harder maneuverability or adjusting the weapon set, vehicle set, police presence, along with much more. GTA 4 is truly a game that was meant for multiplayer I must say and it offers all the fun that you had it the single players and adding to it by including your friends into it and that makes things ten times more interesting.

Multiplayer goodness for you and your friends

Obviously you can all tell that I supremely love this game, as well as all the other GTA games I have had the opportunity to play over the years and GTA 4 had been a great addition to the long line of enjoyable and fun games of the franchise. The single player story was by far my favorite among all the GTA games that I have played before and with the introduction of better mechanics for the player it made for none stop action and enjoyment. This fact also carries over into the multiplayer aspect of the game too, players can either face off against players in matchmaking or you can play with your friends in a number of different game types in which you can wreak havoc in. I will say that there are minor issues that I had with the game, mainly technical problems and the fact that enjoyable features from past GTA games haven’t been incorporated into this one but I was able to overlook this in the wake of all that the GTA 4 had to offer for me and others who enjoyed the game as well.

Good:

-Immersive world, that brings you into it as you play

-Amazing single player campaign story

-Niko Bellic was a great main character to play as

-Multiplayer, that supports sixteen players and features multiple game modes and variation to those game types

-The much need game mechanic upgrade for players has been made

Bad:

-Minor technical difficulties that I don’t feel the need to be picked at due to all the game has to offer and all that it does right

-I wish things from past GTA games would have been incorporated into GTA 4

In the News: TES Online gameplay preview

Video source: IGN

Zach Goodier

Since we are already talking about The Elder Scrolls franchise today, particularly its' brilliant past, let's discuss the future of the franchise, shall we?  This is a gameplay feature showing the character creation, 1st person update, and dungeon raiding with the party, as well as discussing some of the details about the alliances that exist within this game world.  I'm excited about the 1st person being included, since this is an Elder Scrolls game; however, if that isn't your cup of tea, 3rd person is still included.  Skills are also looking cool, since you can "morph" abilities to suit your game style.  I love that classes are not set in stone, making characters seem much more versatile than they do in older MMO's.  I will be eagerly anticipating this game's release next year so that I can finally see if Bethesda can keep up the momentum, and make another gaming masterpiece.

In the News: Bethesda Announces Elder Scrolls Anthology

Zach Goodier

Bethesda is going to release EVERY Elder Scrolls title ever made, along with DLC, for the price of $79.99.  While that is definitely not a small chunk of change, what you get for it is unbelievable: almost 20 years worth of one of the coolest video game franchises out there.  As of right now, it's only confirmed for PC, and I believe it is likely to stay that way.  Still, getting all 5 main games, loaded with all DLC content, is a pretty cool deal.  This edition also includes the maps for every region ever explored in the games, and has some cool looking box art as well.

I'm happy to see that Bethesda is celebrating one of their most beloved franchises, and I may consider picking this up once I get an updated PC that can tackle Skyrim on ultra settings.  This set is going to be released September 10th in the US, and the 13th in Europe.  Don't be surprised if the site stops posting for the next year or so, that just means that I'm busy playing through the set, and might need some help keeping myself fed.

[Ao No Exorcist AMV] - Ultranumb

Hey guys, Zach here.  It's been a long work week for us at ScullyNerdReviews.com, so we're still working on some fresh reviews for all of you.  While you (hopefully) wait patiently, we'll give you guys an AMV to watch.  We're also in the process of planning to start making videos to put up on the site, while funds are scarce in the nerds life, we're working on new ideas for site content in the near future.  So sit back, relax, and stay nerdy, my friends.
