Trinity Blood

Trinity Blood is a 24 episode anime that takes place in a post Armageddon world where there are nations ruled by Methuselah (vampires) and others ruled by humans.  The Vatican is a major military power that uses it effort to protect humans from Methuselah.  The main character called Father Peter Abel Nightroad is a Crusnik (a vampire that drinks the blood of vampires) works for a department in the Vatican traveling from country to country investigating vampire related problems.  

Trinity Blood is a different anime with a storyline that is sometimes very hard to follow, and a plot that is very predictable with each new story arc.  This particular series takes the nations rivalry to a level that is predictable, two nations of different races don't trust each other and are on the brink of war.  Father Nightroad goes around and fights political fundamentalist’s in-order to prevent a major war, a very simple and to the point plot.  Some of the main characters are rich in personality while others are just too rich in personality.  Father Nightroad is at times (most of the time) is very wimpy, pathetic, and annoying, unless he is about to engage in a big fight (which rarely happens).  

Good:

-Action scenes are OK (when they happen)

Bad:

-Storyline hardly ever stays on track

-Main character makes you want to punch the TV 

-Too basic of a plot, and far too predictable.
