Blood+

Blood+ is a 50 episode anime that takes the meaning of family and sacrifice to a whole new level.  The main character Saya Otonoshi is an ordinary Japanese school girl with no memory of her life before she lived in Japan, living with the adoptive family she enjoys a normal life, until one day she is attacked by a creature called a chiropteran (basically a vampire/monster that drinks blood).  She is forced to reveal a past that she can't remember in-order to defeat the creature.  Her adoptive family gets involved in an effort to protect Saya from the creatures and Saya's quest to destroy the creatures begins.  

This anime is a one with a very powerful story line and a plot that never stops changing and will keep the viewer guessing up until the very last episode.  You will follow Saya's journey to destroy the chiropterans and try to uncover pieces of her past along the way.  This anime places a strong emphasis on family, blood lines, friendship, and trust.  It really makes you think about where your loyalties really should lie in life.  

Good:

-Very in-depth and well-constructed story line.  

-Amazing action scenes.

-Strong character personalities. 

-An addicting series that will draw the viewer right into the action/drama   

Bad/Weird:

-Saya in some cases is annoying when she refuses to fight.

-The random so called decelerations of love....(Weird)
