"Expendables 2" built on the success of the first film. The
original group is back with two new additions to the movie, Chuck Norris and Jean Claude Van Damme. The group led by Barnie (Sylvester Stallone) and Lee (Jason
Statham) are hired by Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) again to redeem themselves for
stealing from him in the first film. On the mission one of the group members is
killed by Jean Claud VanDame’s character, from that point on the plot turns
into a revenge mission. The movie
continues making jokes about the casts past movies with lines like “I’ll be
back” and “Yippie ki-yay” you will find yourself laughing along with the cast
and sitting on edge of your seat through the gun fire, explosions, and the hand
to hand combat. In all, this movie is
simply a testosterone pumper with little depth but plenty of humor.
Good:
-Returning all the cast from the first film
- -Intense action
- -Great variation of humor
-The addition of Chuck Norris and Jean Claud

Bad:
- -Plot is unoriginal with little depth
- -One character appears in the start of the movie
but is not in the rest of the movie
