It’s here everyone, the reveal for the newest addition to
the “Batman” games that we have seen in the past few years developed by
Rocksteady Studious. As some of you may or may not know, this time around we
are experiencing a prequel to “Arkham City” and “Arkham Asylum,” if the name of
the game hadn’t given that away already. “Arkham Origins” tells the story of an
early Batman, one who is just starting out as a crime fighter and who is trying
to take control away from the hands of evil that have control of Gotham City at
this time. These hands just so happen to belong to one of the most ruthless of
Batman’s enemies, Black Mask who was once one of Gotham’s biggest crime bosses
is out for blood of the dark knight, sending an army of assassins to stop his
meddling in Black Mask’s affairs. Some of these assassins are nameless thugs
but we have some big name assassins coming our way as well, both Deathstroke
(who is one of my favorite Batman enemies) and Deadshot are hired by Black Mask
to take down Batman. Other big names aren’t left out in the game though,
enemies like The Joker and Bane both are a part of the action but aren’t the
main part of the game we’ll be experiencing. All of this though makes me
incredibly excited for what’s in store for “Arkham Origins” and I’ll be on the
lookout for more as it becomes available but for now sit back and enjoy the
video.
