Head Captain Kyoraku walks the battlefield, observing that things have died down in Sereitei, but knowing that they have allowed Juha Bach and his guard to invade the Palace of the King of Souls. As he briefly chats with Ukitake, he decides to go to Central 46 for unknown reasons.
Back in the Palace, Juha Bach confronts Ichibee Hyousube. However, Juha Bach may have bitten off more than he bargained for with this foe, who quickly demonstrates that his power is not to be underestimated. However, this is far from over, and the Quincy King appears far from despair in the face of this foe.
