This is one
of the earlier trailers for the upcoming Devil May Cry reboot. This gets a little more in depth into Dante's
story and demonstrates more of what the atmosphere is going to be like during
gameplay. The main differences from
prior titles can be summed up as such:
demons have control of society and manipulate people without their knowledge,
Dante is younger and a bit more of a punk, and the missions appear to take
place in the surreal realm of Limbo that exists in parallel to our world and
hides the demons true forms. Some fans
take issue with the apparent changes to the backstory and characters from
previous installments, including Dante himself.
Only time will tell how much merit these concerns have when the game
releases on January 15th, 2013. I myself
look forward to a fresh take on the action-packed franchise to renew my love of
the Devil May Cry.
