Hey guys, Zach here. This week, since I am a little late getting the update out that the latest Bleach chapter has been released, decided to change up the site I linked to. While Mangapanda has always been the first ones to put out the latest chapters, I generally prefer the translations done by Mangastream. Anybody that has experience with anime and manga likely understands what it means to have a good translation to go off of. As somebody who has studied Japanese, I don't envy the people that have to translate these chapters for us; Japanese isn't a language that is easily translated to English, so words don't always have a comparable equivalent in the other language.
Anyways, onto the chapter itself (which means **SPOILERS**). This week, Ichigo confronts "Zangetsu," or at least the embodiment of his Quincy powers that claimed to be Zangetsu, and is faced with the reasons for the deceit. "Zangetsu" didn't want to let Ichigo become a shinigami because it would lead to hardship and pain, and it would likely mean his death. "Zangetsu" so strongly believed that Ichigo could never become a shinigami that he planned to kill him if he ever realized his true power. However, he admits that these feelings changed as Ichigo grew stronger, and laid down his own path. The chapter concludes with Ichigo first beginning to glimpse his true zanpakuto, so hopefully next week we can see more of what it going on, but there is a good chance we'll jump ship to some other story for a little while.
