Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Elder Scrolls fans come one come all to the latest installment to the franchise “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”, gamers are placed back into the action role playing and open world splendor they’ve come to love from the Elder Scrolls universe and are going to be amazed at what is in store. “Skyrim” follows in the footsteps of its predecessors where you are placed in a massive and incredibly designed world to be explored and find hundreds of treasures, quests and intriguing characters. At the beginning of the game you are given the option to choose and create your character in any way you see fit, with a wide variety of species and races to choose from such as Nord, Elves, Redkin or even Khajiit (if you are up for being a cat person, literally) and from there you can add even more personal touches to your character such a facial features to really make your character your own. From there you set out for adventure exploring the incredibly well design world set before you, whether you choose to follow the highly enjoyable main storyline or set out on your own seeking loot and other challenges is entirely up to you. “Skyrim” provides so much to see and do gamers will be hooked for endless hours of enjoyment and perhaps one of the biggest attractions that will have players hooked comes from one of the most unique and challenging enemies in the game, Dragons. Part of the games experience is taking on the mantle of the Dragon-born, a warrior who fights Dragons and is able to steal their power by absorbing their soul, these dragon souls can be used to unlock Thunes or words of power found all over the game and unlock powers for your character that range from things such as the ability to breathe fire, create a blast of wind or even freeze time. If that weren’t enough to get you excited about “Skyrim”, players can further their characters power through gaining experience and leveling up their characters making them a force not to be taken lightly. Players gain experience for doing various in game activities such as killing opponents and completing the various story and side quests, when you choose to level up you are given the option to upgrade your skills any way you’d like whether you want to upgrade your stealth to make you undetectable by enemies or upgrade your swordsmanship skills to make you handy with a blade and so much more. “Skyrim” is a game that comes jam packed with so many things to see and do you will find it hard just to pull yourself away from the action.


“Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” offers a mesmerizing experience that captures and pulls you into the story and world set before you, this captivating gameplay will have you playing for hours on end and not even realize it because you are having that much fun. And while things may have changed from what people loved about the last Elder Scrolls games, fans will find all new things to love whether it be the intriguing characters, well-crafted story or the badass dragons that need slaying, “Skyrim” has something for everyone.
