Well the twists keep on coming in this week’s chapter of Naruto and more and more the links to
the past have affected the present shinobi world. After last week we learned
that Naruto has awoken to find a surprising guest in his inner world and that
he is in fact the Sage of Six Paths. He has told Naruto the tale of how all
that has happened up till this point was because of the last time the God Tree
was around and his mother took the fruit from it to create and introduce chakra
to the world. Naruto has inherited the responsibilities of this decision made
by the Sage’s mother and how the responsibility has been passed down from his
children to Naruto who has inherited the chakra of the Sage’s son. This is a
recurring theme which has gone beyond just Madara and Hashirama, going back to
the dawning of chakra itself. What will the Sage have to say to Naruto and what
