Gungrave is a 26 episode long anime following a man know as Brandon Heat and his involvement in a life of crime and a mafia group know as Millennion. Brandon Heat and his friend Harry McDowell find themselves in a terrible situation when they get into a fight with a rival gang and their friends get killed. By chance the two friends come upon and join the mafia group know as Millennion and their quest to climb the ladder of power begins. Gungrave is an anime thats story line is not only well thought out but the characters presented in this series are also complex individuals that will keep you guessing. Emotions run high as lives are lost and Brandon Heat is driven to great length to protect the ones he loves not matter who is threatening them friend or foe. Action packed and a story line that will draw you right into the emotions of the characters this anime is one of a kind. Later on in the episodes the series takes a turn down a path of science fiction and turns away from realism not following the mold set by the first set of episodes.
Good:
-Complex story line that falls into place -Rich characters full of personality -Emotion driven -Powerful ending (Emphasize the powerful!!) -Great blood pumping action scenes
Bad/Weird:
-The first episode seems to be out of place and confuses the viewer when they get to episode 2. -Goes from realism to science fiction almost without warning. -Old man and young women.......whatever floats your boat lol
