In the News: Mass Effect 4

With the depressing end to Mass Effect 3 fans of the series have been wondering why Bioware decided to end the trilogy on a note like that. Well not sure if it is great news but N7 soldiers and fans of Mass Effect get ready Bioware has announced that Mass Effect 4 is in the works and will be taking a new spin on the game that defined a generation. From what we have heard so far is that this title will be taking a Shepardless spin on the franchise but we can’t be sure of this at this point. This game however will still be made by Bioware but not by its Edmonton division instead it will be made by Bioware Montreal. For fans who do not know Bioware Montreal had a little part in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, they helped create the DLC for both games but had little or no part in the main story. This could mean one of two things this new game will take a complete U-turn and be as amazing as the first and second game or fall flat on its face (obvious I know but still needed to be said.) They will however allow the Edmonton division to help advise with the story so they do not “ruin” the story that was created with the first two games. Though we will have to wait a year or two for Mass Effect 4 we hope that it revitalizes the series and helps weaken the blow that the Mass Effect 3 ending put on us. Also we here at Scullynerdreviews.com hope that Mass Effect 4 will allow us to choose our race to play from any in the Mass Effect Universe. We will keep you updated on future news about this game.
